GOL are a UK/Iranian band formed in Edinburgh in September 2008. Their fresh and funky fusion of traditional Persian arrangements, electronica, jazz and world music have spread waves of excitement from Scotland to the Middle East and USA, leading to numerous slots on BBC TV and a busy summer of festival performances in the UK. They released their EP “Roots” in November 2009 and are going back into the studio in March to start recording their new Album.
