Inspired by the Magham (Loosely translated as Modal) music of various regions in Iran, Magham Ensemble is aiming to explore and exhibit the art of Magham music. The ensemble uses a tempered scale and concentrates more on ornamentations and melodic motifs to showcase musical traditions from different ethnicities in Iran.
